Start times 

 

• We ask all clients to arrive 10 minutes before the start of any event. If you are delayed for any reason, please let us know via telephone +44 (0) 7793 825327. Please ensure you have allowed enough travel time to be at the start location promptly.

• We do not allow clients to be accompanied by non-paying family or friends (except where prior permission has been granted for children accompanying an adult).

• Our guides have other commitments after your tour so even if you arrive late, we still endeavour to finish at the original scheduled time. However sometimes our tours do last longer than planned. Please let your tour guide know if finishing later will be a problem for you and they will endeavour to accommodate your requirements although this may mean you missing part of the tour or not photographing all that you wanted to. 

 

Payments

• All tours are to be booked and paid in advance via our secure online booking system.

• All attendees pay for the tour whether using a camera or not.

• We use https, encryption technology for your payment processing. This means that your financial details are processed securely.

•  A confirmation email with instructions will be sent once payment is received. 

 

Safety

​

• All our events will involve a mix of public and private locations, roads, footpaths and the interior and exterior of buildings.

• While we will continuously endeavour to keep clients safe, clients agree to undertake any event at their own risk to themselves and their equipment.

• International clients must take extra care when crossing roads.

• All clients are expected to prepare for the weather with appropriate clothing and bring a drink and a snack if necessary.

• Tours involve significant amounts of walking and use of some stairways. Clients must be healthy enough to complete the tour and wear appropriate footwear and outerwear. Should you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact us beforehand. 

• Please make your tour guide aware of any pertinent medical conditions or mobility restrictions before the tour starts. 

 

Cancellations

  

• All tours are to be paid in advance.
  There are no refunds except at the discretion of London Photo Explorers.

• Cancellation or Date transfer fees are as follows:

                      12 hours before – No Charge

                      Less than 12 hours before – 50%

• Tours are only transferable to another person with the consent of London Photo Explorers.

• Each attendee pays full price on every tour, whether using a camera or not. We do not allow clients to be accompanied by non-paying family or friends.

• If you have paid the Young Person’s Discount rate, be prepared to present your ID to the guide at the start of the tour, or you may be charged the price difference.

• All tours are held in rain, sunshine, cloud and snow. We do not cancel tours unless the weather is severe or hazardous. Cancellations will be notified by text so please check your phones before setting off. We will endeavour to give as much notice of cancellations as possible but cannot be held responsible if the messages do not get through. 

• If severe weather occurs during a tour we will give participants the option to leave the tour and receive a partial refund. This is at the discretion of the tour guide. Should you have to abandon the tour you will not be entitled to a refund.

 

Changes to Tour Route/Content

London is an ever-changing city. As such we reserve the right to amend the route, content or length of the tour without notice if locations are closed, damaged, under repair or refurbishment or if we are impeded by construction or other works.
